The static cams which didn't match the music, errrm.. I'm interested in knowing where in the movie you mean, so I can check that out more and see if I can change it to something better, or perhaps remove it completely.

Some of you might remember Nomine? The 8 minutes long movie I made containing footage from an entire season of SCC Cup. Fire and Flames will be just as Nomine, but contain footage from this season of the cup (season 5). I've already started this project even though the season isn't over yet, so the final version of this movie will show up later on, but I can offer a 1½ minutes long teaser for now.

The clip that starts at 2.06 is recorded from a replay that I got from a drifter named Takumi, he participated in a drift competition at Kyoto. So, I never used a private skin. If anything, someone else in that competition used a private skin so I shouldn't be held responsible for it. :]

I'm using Vegas and have been doing so for ages but I'm not sure about how to make an effect like this with that software, as I never tried it. However, I think you can use radial blur with a fixed radius and a weaker strength, it'll blur the rim(s) and the surrounding area. How large of the surrounding area depends on the value you enter in strength.
